I was hooked on traveling and reading as a youngster. My dad organized family trips in the station wagon every summer, including a 6-week trip to the western US when I was nine and a 10-week drive around Europe in a Volkswagen van when I was 14. My mother gave me books as she finished them and instilled the love of reading. When I graduated university I accepted a teaching job in Melbourne, Australia, thus starting a life of living, traveling and working internationally. Besides Australian, I’ve taught in Colorado in the US, Malaysia (twice), Japan and England. I now share my time between Denver, Colorado, and London, England. It seems only natural that my writing is set in different countries. I am currently working on my sixth novel and co-authoring a memoir about a guitarist’s first battle of the bands in 1967.
